Summertime is when children need a positive outlet and an established environment to

spend their time.M.A.D.E. will provide affordable basketball camps for at-risk, inner city

boys and girls age 9 -15 throughout Chicago

M.A.D.E. offers an environment for our youth to stay out of trouble during the summer,

where they have a sense of ownership as they develop life skills to become responsible

citizens in a fun and safe environment.

Objectives

·        Teach youth basic basketball fundamentals

·        Teach youth the meaning of teamwork and rely on one another to achieve a goal

·        To teach leadership skills that is essential for young people to feel satisfaction and contribute to society

·        To educate the importance of balancing education and sports

·        To educate about and develop health nutritional habits as it relates to sports and their daily living

It’s that time of year again and M.A.D.E. is hosting its annual fundraising 3 on 3 By the Lake/Family Weekend”.

This event will be held on Chicago’s Spectacular Lakefront!

What our children need is a strong foundation. We need to foster and teach our children the importance

of learning and growing together. As we embark on a new school year, it is imperative that we instill

positive attitudes, education, and fun for our children.
 

The regions premiere 3 on 3-basketball tournament will draw teams from all over. Various divisions provide everyone with an opportunity to play and compete – young, old, male, female, and physically challenged. Players and spectators agree there is not a more exciting summer weekend in event in Chicago.

M.A.D.E. is inviting the entire family to come out and express love and unity for our community

with a weekend full of fun for everyone to enjoy.

Various divisions provide everyone with an opportunity to play and compete. Teams in each division will compete in games of 12 points. The first team to score 12 points, or the team with the most points in 12 minutes wins. Teams will continue through the process of double elimination until two teams from each division remain to compete in the championship. Premium prizes will be awarded to the 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place finishers of each division.

During the games, sponsor booths will be set up around the parameter of the courts. Food and refreshments will also be available. Our radio partner will be on the premise hosting a live remote broadcast, and celebrity guest will be invited to attend.
